Summer Youth Academies Scholarship Summer 2026 Application

Priority deadline is April 1, 2026

Parents, please complete application form. Student are responsible for writing and submitting essay portion at the link below.
Scholarship applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis contingent upon funding and space availability.
Maximum scholarship award will cover the cost of one class per recipient.
Limit one scholarship per student.
Students who are offered a scholarship are not guaranteed a seat in a class. Recipients must still register and registration is dependent upon space availability.
Scholarship award money is not disbursable to recipients. Instead, funds are directly applied to cover the cost of one class and any unused funds are reapplied to the Youth Programs Scholarship Fund. Should a scholarship recipient decide not to enroll, the funds will be returned to the Youth Programs Scholarship Fund.
Scholarship recipients will be notified by email.

Applicants must attach a single-sided 250-word essay describing why they want to participate in the Sacramento State Youth Programs. We recommend listing careers you are interested in. Discuss any of the following subjects: what made you choose this career, what you hope to gain by your experience in the Youth Programs and how your participation will assist you in reaching your educational and career goals.
